On April 20, 2013 WTVI PBS Charlotte will air My School Rocks! My School Rocks is a fundraiser supporting local area high school choirs. Each school performs two songs during the show. You pledge your dollars to WTVI PBS Charlotte in the name of your favorite choir. The school that raises the most money for WTVI PBS Charlotte receives $5,000, second place, $1,500, and third place receives $1,000. You can pledge your support by calling in a donation, donating on-line, or text-to-give to the high school of your choice. You can text a $10 contribution to the school of your choice. Just pull out your phone and text your school’s mascot to 20222. Once you have sent your text, you will be sent a confirmation message. You must reply “yes” for your contribution to be confirmed. $10 will be added to you mobile bill, messaging and data rates may apply.
