WTVI is on air, online and all around the Charlotte area. We’re active across our 13-county viewing area covering local stories for Carolina Impact and Carolina Business Review, delivering literacy training to parents and teachers, offering community health screenings and financial literacy workshops, hosting community conversations, previewing upcoming PBS programs, and more.
For Teachers & Childcare Providers
In addition to all the great children’s programming WTVI airs every day, we also offer a range of resources that start preschoolers on the road to reading, give educators and K-12 students online access to thousands of video, audio and print materials related to PBS shows, and help educators improve their practice with high-quality, low-cost professional development courses. Contact Beverly Dorn-Steele, Director of Education & Outreach, for more information on free early literacy workshops for childcare providers and preschool teachers.
