American Graduate Day 2015 premiered live on WTVI PBS Charlotte on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Through the power and reach of public media, individuals across the county were invited to take an active role and become an “American Graduate Champion” for local youth by volunteering their time, talent or other resources.

At an October 1 luncheon, WTVI PBS Charlotte celebrated and recognized the exceptional work of three local individuals in our community: Jacquelyn Thomas, Marty Clary, and Kimberly Roseboro.

Watch their stories below to see how they’re helping youth stay on the path to graduation!
